Lancaster - Planning and Pubbing

Have escaped the madness and lack of accommodation in Manchester with a train to Lancaster. Booked into the Wagon and Horse Pub for five nights B&B. Lancaster is a town with a bit of peace and quiet to plan our coast to coast (Wainwrights route) walk. Its also got a castle that boasts the most hangings outside of London, including eradicating witches in the 1600s. It's also got outdoor shops, all the major stores, good coffee, canals and several beers that require sampling etc etc.
The White Cross pub. Excellent roasts
